com’>Rick Romell of the Journal Sentinel Posted: May. 26 2009 Green Bay – Federal Judge William Griesbach on Tuesday issued a preliminary injunction continuing a freeze on the assets of Wealth Management LLC an Appleton-area investment firm whose owner is accused of taking undisclosed kickbacks and misleading clients. Attorneys for Wealth Management majority owner James Putman and the U. Securities and Exchange Commission which has filed a civil complaint against Putman agreed to the injunction. It will remain in effect while a receiver attorney Faye Feinstein sorts through Wealth Management’s financial affairs. Among Feinstein’s tasks is to gauge the value of assets in six unregistered Wealth Management funds at the heart of the SEC case.

CSTWaste collection transfer and recycling company Waste Management Inc. has recently unveiled plans for two waste-to-energy initiatives which will be added to its current portfolio of more than 100 landfill gas projects across North America. Initially the joint venture will focus on processing medical and segregated commercial and industrial waste streams. The Plasma Enhanced Melter system developed by InEnTec involves the extreme heating of waste materialsbetween 10000 and 20000 degrees Fahrenheit using plasma gas.

Shell announces new management structure

Shell said its upstream activities which are currently managed in three separate organizations — exploration and production gas and power and oil sands — will be reorganized into two units one for the Americas and the other for international operations. Marvin dum executive vice president for exploration and production in the Americas will run the new upstream Americas unit and Malcolm Brinded executive director of exploration and production will run the international unit. The downstream business will be expanded to include trading while a new projects and technologies unit will be created. The changes will take effect from July 1 when Peter Voser takes over as CE.
