* BPOMS has proposals in process for an additional $6 million in ITO
projects, and the pipeline for new business is accelerating due to the
pressure for corporations to reduce costs in the challenging economic
environment. The Company’s Pearl River ITO facility is at approximately 50%
capacity, providing significant room to expand without significant capital
expenditures. * BPOMS Enterprise Content Management (ECM) business experienced a
temporary slowdown. Following a restructuring of management, the division is
back on-track and October was a record month for the ECM segment. * The Company also reorganized its HRO segment to reflect demand for a
“Software as a Service” (SaaS) model. This adjustment is expected to result in
improved performance in the fourth quarter and beyond. * Management continues to anticipate $30 million in revenue for the full-
year (2008) and expects to be EBITDA-positive as it enters 2009.

There’s More To Open Source Net Management Apps Than Cost Savings
InformationWeek, NY
Network management offerings run the gamut from products that monitor uptime and network utilization statistics to enterprise application suites that provide device command and control. Vendors such as BMC, CA, Hewlett-Packard, and IBM dominate this segment by offering it all, product suites with a management and reporting interface driven by a back end that discovers network devices, builds network models, discovers and records applications, correlates events, and manages configuration changes. Open source options won’t deliver the same sweeping functionality as big-name vendors, but companies should consider these lower-cost offerings, since the staffing to support and install them might not be that different from proprietary options. SBCN’s Central Identity Management System (CIMS) Recognized with …
MarketWatch
, Nov 14, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) –
The Central Identity Management System (CIMS) developed by the Security
Biometric Clearing Network (SBCN) and used in the US Registered Traveler
(RT) Program has been selected by the National Electronic Commerce
Coordinating Council (eC3) as the 2008 Excellence Award winner for
innovation in protecting the privacy and integrity of citizen
information. The RT program is one of the most successful voluntary
biometric programs in the world. Managed and operated by the SBCN, CIMS is the first system of its type
in the world: a multi-biometric, standards-based, interoperable identity
management system supporting local airport solutions, while enabling use
nationwide. Along with the US Transportation Security Administration
(TSA), over 70 of the nation’s airports and 30 technology companies
endorsed and approved CIMS. The CIMS is responsible for several key functions in the RT
architecture, including processing of all enrollment records,
interfacing with the Transportation Security Agency (TSA) for background
checks and participant vetting, establishment of chain of trust
throughout the system from vetted enrollments through issued
credentials, and managing the alert process with service providers
regarding revoked credentials. The CIMS was developed to process millions of enrollments utilizing
DaonEngine, a highly flexible, secure and scalable identity software
platform which serves as the backbone for identity assurance programs
around the globe. Working with Daon, a leader in biometrics software,
the SBCN successfully deployed an operational CIMS only 69 days
following final approval of the Registered Traveler Interoperability
Consortium (RTIC) specification by the TSA.
